10 years of implementation of the CDNI
Having come into force in November 2009, the CDNI celebrated ten years of implementation in 2019. This occasion was marked by two publications revisiting the highlights of recent years.
10 years of implementation of the CDNI (2009-2019)
By putting the Convention’s work into perspective, and its importance to inland navigation, this evaluation presents the accomplishments of the past 10 years and future challenges.
Collection of contributions from the founding members
The collection draws together the memories of the principal protagonists of the CDNI and revisits the highlights of the anniversary of the entry into force of the Convention, celebrated in Strasbourg on 17 December 2019.
Results of the online survey on the implementation of part B of the CDNI (2016)
This survey, which ran from 20 September 2015 to 5 January 2016, encountered a high response rate from navigation personnel and reception stations. The Contracting States of the CDNI and its Secretariat took on the task of analysing all the responses received. The report summarises the principal conclusions and actions taken, in progress, or planned, as well as the detailed findings of this survey.
CDNI activity reports
The reports encompass all the activities of the Conference of the Contracting Parties (CPC), the CDNI/G Working group and the International Clearance and Coordination Body (IIPC). They are published regularly.
